Successful and rapidly growing international professional development firm is seeking an Accounting Manger to lead the day-to-day operations of the department. The ideal candidate will have a strong audit background in public accounting, at least one year of supervising staff, operational experience, and the ability to work very well independently.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee accounts payable, payroll, billing, A/R, staff accounting, and general ledger transactions/reconciliation
· Set up new business processes including converting payments from invoicing to reoccurring credit card payments
· Help the company reduce paper flow by utilizing technical resources to promote efficiency and accuracy
· Internal controls documentation to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
The Accounting Manager reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and works with the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, Tax Manager, and CFO. International tax experience is a plus as the company currently has locations across the world and is expanding into new markets.
Required Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years related work experience in a public accounting firm
· At least 1 year of supervisory experience
· 1 year of experience in private industry (a plus)
· CPA (a must)
· Degree in accounting or a related field
· Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
· Strong experience with spreadsheet tools
· International experience (a plus)
Salary:
Market and experience with range of 75,000 to 95,000.
