Tax Manager - Future Partner - San Francisco 100,000 to 140,000

Senior Tax Manager - San Francisco

This is a highly visible role and encompasses all aspects of the firm’s service offerings. The Senior Tax Manager will work closely with the partner group in achieving the strategic goals of the firm.

SALARY - 100,000 to 140,000

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Promote firm services and build new business.
• Review Individual, Partnership, and Corporate Tax Returns.
• Perform tax planning and other consulting services.
• Conduct research and draft technical memorandum.
• Train and mentor professional staff.

Qualifications:

• Eight to Twelve years of broad based tax and accounting experience with a public accounting firm.
• Proficient in corporate, partnership and individual taxation; including the ability to review returns prepared by staff accountants and provide planning, research and compliance services to our clients.
• Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple client engagements including supervision, training and mentoring of staff.
• Proven ability to market and develop new business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to develop positive relationships with clients and work well with others on the team is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting and active CPA license or significant progress required. Master’s Degree in Tax is a plus.
