New Opportunity - Sr. Analyst - Torrance 75,000 to 90,000


POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Sr. Finance Analyst role is responsible for retrieving and analyzing data, building predictive models and presenting information relating to the South and Central America regions' independent distributors.  Specific responsibilities include data analysis and business recommendations for distributor events and distributor promotions.  The position will report directly to the Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis, South America and will also be responsible for financial analysis of Distributor events and promotions including the tracking of results against financial targets. 

In addition, the Sr. Finance Analyst will prepare monthly distributor metric reports and respond to ad-hoc data analysis requests and special projects as required. 
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 
  • Develop and maintain monthly regional reporting of distributor activity
  • Analyze key metrics to identify business trends
  • Work closely with sales teams to determine sales event revenue and attendance models
  • Build predictive models to determine the projected number of qualifiers for distributor promotions
  • Develop and distribute tracking reports for event ticket sales and promotional qualifications
  • Work closely with IS team for development of complex tracking reports
  • Post financial analysis of events and promotions
  • Preparation of Sales Event and Promotions approval documentation
  • Maintain database of historical event and promotions results
  • Work with FP&A group to determine and update financial accruals for distributor promotions
  • Respond to Ad Hoc requests from the region and corporate
  • Assist in the preparation of Business Presentations 

Qualifications


Skills:
        Required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven quantitative decision making skills

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Detail oriented
  • Team player with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
  • Ability to hit firm deadlines
  • Strong data management and analytical skills with the ability to produce ad-hoc or standardized reports with varying complexity
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data analysis and Business Intelligence tool
        Preferred
  • English/Spanish bi-lingual (read, write, and speak)
Experience:
        Required
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in one or more of the following areas; customer analysis, financial analysis, statistical model development, data mining and/or CRM Database Analysis
  • Experience with developing ad-hoc business analysis reports using a multi-dimensional database tool such as MicroStrategy, Hyperion, COGNOS, Business Objects, Etc.
  •  Experience preparing forecasts, ROI analyses, and converting general data and findings into applied, specific information and suggestions that add value to business planning
        Preferred
  • Experience working in Multi-Level-Marketing or Direct Selling Organizations
Education:
        Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Financial Systems, Statistics or Economics
        Preferred
  • Master's Degree
