Tax Senior - Encino

Our client is a growing Business Management Firm that provides service for the Entertainment Industry, Performers and Executives, as well as other high net worth individuals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily business management with clients, working in tandem with a partner and account manager
• Prepare and review tax for individuals, partnerships and corporations
• Assist ENTERTAINMENT clients in tax planning
• Review general ledger work of bookkeepers
• Financial statement and cash flow preparation, reporting, and forecasting

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of current tax experience in public accounting (local or regional CPA firm with progression) with strong tax preparation in personal and corporate taxes
• Knowledge of insurance, investments, and finance
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. in Accounting highly desirable)
• CPA preferred and CPA firm experience required
• Business management experience (required)
• Datafaction, DF Imaging, ProSystems experience (helpful)
• Outstanding and responsive oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in use of computers, computer accounting software, and tax software programs
• Ability to organize work and projects, prioritize and meet deadlines, and to complete work in an efficient and accurate manner

Salary: 60,000 – 70,000
