Manager - Family Office

Our client is a leading CPA firm in Beverly Hills.​ Their highly regarded skills and experience go well beyond accounting, auditing and tax services.​ Our client provides a full array of integrated services including but not limited to strategic business consulting, regulatory compliance and SEC advisory services, insurance and risk management consulting and their highly specialized family office services.​

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with staff of bookkeepers and accountants that are performing the following functions:
  • Recording of cash receipts and disbursements
  • Manage bank reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of broker and trustee statements
  • Maintenance of supporting schedules and work papers
  • Coordination with payroll service and employee benefit providers
  • Monthly and year end closings, including journal entries
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Train and develop staff as well as provide informal and formal feedback regarding their performance
  • Work in conjunction with tax department on year round tax planning
  • Review corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns
  • Review and maintain budgets and client relations
  • Keep partners updated about the status of the engagement
Requirements:
  • Datafaction and QuickBooks experience a plus
  • Experience with accounting related software desired (i.​e.​ CCH Prosystem Engagement, Prosystems Tax)
  • Computer literacy, including strong excel skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment, and lead a client service team
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role
  • Business management or family office firm experience is a plus
  • Must have managed a team responsible for tour accounting
Education:
  • Bachelors degree or MS in accounting
  • CPA license preferred
Salary: 80,000- 100,000
