The Tax Manager will be responsible for:
Responsibilities include:
1. Focus efforts on consulting with clients on moderate to complex issues, follow up with innovative solutions to effectively meet and exceed client expectations
2. Identifies internal/external client business issues to be addressed by the team
3. Identify additional client service opportunities with current clients
4. Manage all aspects of the project including delegating tasks, and assisting with resolution of project issues
5. Act as a mentor to staff while providing constructive feedback and identifying developmental needs
6. Research specific technical issues
7. Manage preparation of federal, multi-state and SEC corporate returns, US filing for foreign entities, and partnership returns.
8. Wide variety of Tax compliance assignments
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experienced in technical tax issues
2. Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines
3. Superior problem solving ability
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
6. At least 5-8 years of Tax experience with 2+ years of international tax experience
7. Master in Business Tax desired
8. Local Firm or Big 4 Firm experience
9. CPA Required
